Description: Use the Booking features to schedule and track different appointments within the system. To ensure you get the most out of your booking features and that it works as intended, there are a few settings that need to be in place during setup.
Note: This article covers features SPECIFICALLY for the Salon & Spa system. Checkout is not designed to have Booking functionality.

Booking Settings
Once you have your store location in the system and are ready to set up the Booking feature:
- Log in to Back Office and select Settings > Booking Settings.
- Turn on the Booking feature by sliding the toggle for "Enable booking" to enable it.
- Once you have enabled Booking, more settings options populate below. Go through these and set them according to your business’s needs.
- Click Save after making your changes.

Employee Settings
The software requires employees to book appointments. Some locations may have employees that can provide services to customers and some who don’t (ex: Receptionists). You need to make sure that ALL employees who provide services have active services and working hours in order to appear on the Booking screen.
- From the Back Office, select Employees.
- Select the name of the employee you wish to add from the list to the Booking screen.
- From the pop-up window, scroll down and ensure you have "Service provider" toggled on.
- Click Save once complete.
Employee Schedules
Setting the employee’s hours is the last step to ensure they reflect correctly on the Booking screen.
- From the Back Office, navigate to Settings and select Schedule under the Employee section.
- Select the name of the person whose schedule you wish to modify from the dropdown.
- Go through one day at a time, adding the correct schedule for that employee.
- Once complete, click Save. The hours put into this section will be the open availability for that person on the Booking screen.
Advanced options
You can use this option to replicate the schedule for up to six months in advance.
- Select the Advanced Options button.
- Then click the calendar icon on the upper right side of the screen.
- From the calendar that pops up, select the date that you want to replicate the schedule to.
- Once selected, press the Replicate button.
Services
Now that employees can book services, you need to designate the services those employees can perform.
- From the Back Office, select Catalog and then Products.
- To add a new Service, press the + and select Service from the dropdown.
- Enter the Service name and Category as these are required fields.
- Fill the remaining fields as required.
- Select Save once complete.
