Description: Learn where to find the Customer Database, Products and Services, and Tickets on the POS in Salon & Spa / Checkout. Use the Function Bar, located in the upper right corner of the Register Screen, to access these features.
List of Customers
The Customer Database is used to store information about your customers and attach them to tickets for a variety of different purposes, such as email or text message receipts. Selecting a customer can be done in 3 different ways. You can also search by customer’s name, phone number, email, or customer code.
Creating/Editing Customers
Add a new customer:
Customers are added to the POS by tapping the person icon in the top right corner:
- The customer's First name, Last name, and either their Cell phone, Work phone, or Email are required.
Editing an existing customer:
- Select the customer from the database.
- Tap the options icon (3 dots) located at the top right corner of the profile to access the edit options.
- On the customer profile, there are tabs that provide additional details regarding the customer:
View/edit primary information. Custom Attributes can also appear in this section if created. | |
View customers’ past finalized transactions or held orders. | |
View any product or service ever purchased and BUY AGAIN (add to new transaction). | |
View/add custom notes. | |
View date, time, customer name, service provider assigned, service name, and status of the customer’s Booking. | |
View any Prepaid Bundles, such as tanning sessions. Pending sessions would be redeemed from this tab to add to a transaction & finalize. |

View any Discounts the customer had received in previous transactions. |
List of Products & Services
On the Register screen, begin a transaction by manually selecting a product or service or by scanning a barcode. This automatically creates a new ticket, and you can continue adding products or services.
- The All items category is every product or service in the database. This category can only default as the first listed button or be hidden from Register.
- Products and services are sorted into categories/departments. When selected, the screen only displays the products/services buttons applicable to that category.
- You can search for products or services by placing the name, keyword, tag, product code, and SKU number into the box manually or scan the barcode (if the code is programmed as SKU or Product Code).
- Settings to the right of the search bar allow you to sort alphabetically, by price, or with the newest first.
List of Order Tickets
Selecting the Tickets icon from the Function Bar allows you to view, reprint/resend receipts, refund, and resume held orders.
Search for Ticket
Use the search toolbar to filter/search for a ticket by order types, ticket #, credit card’s last 4, customers, date ranges, and a variety of other options. You must have a minimum of 3 characters to search.
Reprint / Resend a Receipt
To re-email or text a receipt, select from the options icon (3 dots) at the top right corner of the ticket.
Resume a Held Transaction
Select the ticket from the List of Order Tickets; held tickets are highlighted pink with a “Pause” sign to the left of the date.
