Description: Learn how to freeze reservations for a given time period you specify. For instance, if the business will be closed for a holiday or other purpose, you want to limit your Reservations online site from allowing people to book appointments for that time period.
Freeze Reservations
- Select the Freeze Reservations button from the left navigation pane.
- Select the day you want to freeze reservations by tapping on the date in Calendar View. If you wish to Freeze multiple times across multiple days, you need to apply these one at a time in order to ensure that no mistakes are made.
- Once the date is selected, choose whether or not to block off the entire day (holiday/closed) or specific time slots only on the right.
- Message to Customers: If you want to change the message customers see, edit the "Reason for Freeze" box at the bottom left.
- Once you’ve selected the time slots for the freeze and edited the Reason for Freeze, select the Save button at the bottom right to apply your changes. This takes effect immediately.
- Once the date is selected, choose whether or not to block off the entire day (holiday/closed) or specific time slots only on the right.
Freeze Blocking: Full vs. Partial
Blocking Off an Entire Day: Blocking off the entire day will result in a Solid Red X being drawn over the day on Calendar View.
Blocking Off a Partial Day: Blocking off a partial day or segments of time on any given day will result in a Dashed Red X being drawn over the day.
In order to modify a day already frozen, tap on the day and select additional time slots or deselect time slots already selected.
Select Save to apply any changes.
