Description: Learn how to verify a device’s physical serial number during setup or troubleshooting to ensure it matches the configuration in Transaction Manager and/or with the processor.
During setup or troubleshooting, there may be circumstances where you must verify the Device Serial Number on the physical device to ensure it matches what is configured in hold Transaction Manager and/or with the Processor.

Reboot the PIN Pad.
Model Type Reset Procedure iSC250/480: Press and hold the clear (yellow) and the minus ( - ) keys until the device chirps.
iPP320/350:
iWL252/258:
iCMP/iSMPv4:
Press and hold the clear (yellow) and period (.) keys until the device chirps. - Wait for the PIN Pad to display the Retail Base (RBA) version information screen.
- On the Ingenico Copyright screen, press 2, 6, 3, 4, and Enter. Shortly after this, the device will ask you to either press (+) plus or (F) function for the menu. If the device requests (F) function for the menu, but there is no (F) key, simply press (+) plus instead.
If successful, the Functions menu should display. If it does not, please reboot again and try performing the code entry again. -
Navigate to the TSA menu and press Enter.
Model Type Navigation Controls iSC250/480: Use the [+] and [-] keys to navigate and select [Enter]
iPP320/350:
iWL252/258:
iCMP/iSMPv4:
Use the [F2] and [F3] keys to navigate and select [Enter] - Select Terminal Serial #.
- Record the 8-digit number under Hardware.
Ingenico Tetra Devices
Bring the PIN Pad to a "This Lane Closed" screen before proceeding with one of the following four-digit entries.
Method 1
- Press 0000 for the Unified Payment Platform screen.
- Look at the Manufacture entry for the last eight digits of the serial number.
Note: Rebooting the PIN Pad should also display this screen for a few seconds during the process.
Method 2
- Press 2634 for the main menu prompt.
Note: If entered correctly, the device will display a secondary prompt to push the "F" key to access the Tetra System menu. (For the Move 5000 PIN Pad, press the silver circle button (upper right corner)). - Select the TSA menu.
- Select option 0 for Terminal Serial #
- View the last eight digits of the serial number.
