SkyTab Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM)

New Features

• Europe Only: Payment Links: European merchants can now create secure, shareable payment URLs in LBM to collect payments remotely without handling cardholder data directly. Set an amount, currency, and options, then share via email or SMS for customers to pay through Shift4's hosted checkout. Active links can be tracked and managed from a dedicated Payment Links page.

  Improvements

• Streamlined Merchant Admin Onboarding: New merchant admins now receive a single invitation email that spans multiple locations, and all MIDs are automatically assigned when the account is created, reducing onboarding time and manual setup steps.
• Improved Location Sorting: Locations in the navigation bar are now sorted by Legal Name and Merchant Name rather than ID, making it faster for merchants with multiple locations to find what they need.
• Multi-Location Selector Improvements: The multi-location selector in Location Groups has been updated to be more consistent with the rest of the platform, with clearer guidance messaging and a loading indicator for a smoother experience.
• Onboarding Reliability: Resolved an issue where some newly onboarded locations weren't automatically receiving the correct platform experience. This now happens seamlessly without manual intervention.
• New Sort Order in Navigation Tab: The navigation tab in LBM now features an updated sort order, making it easier to locate menu items and settings quickly.

New Features

• Transaction Manager: New Data Columns
  • Surcharge visibility: Transaction Manager now includes a dedicated Surcharge Amount column, giving merchants clearer visibility into surcharge amounts on individual transactions.
  • Eight new columns are now available across Transaction Manager, the transaction summary page, exports, and the Payment Details page: Surcharge Amount, Terminal ID, Device Serial Number, Manufacturer, Model, Device Timestamp, Deferred Authorization Flag, and Processor MID.

• End of Day Batch Totals Report (US, Canada, Europe): Canadian merchants can now access a daily End of Day Batch Totals Report in LBM (Reporting > Reports > End of Day Batch Totals), showing Sales, Refunds, and Net amounts grouped by card brand. Data locks once a batch is submitted, and scheduled delivery is available via subscription.
• Canada Only: Near Real-Time Transaction Data: Gateway transaction data in LBM now updates within approximately 90 seconds (max 5 minutes) for Canadian merchants, down from 1–1.5 hours. Transactions outside the previous 7-day refresh window will also now reflect accurate statuses.

 Improvements

• Surcharge Disclaimer: A surcharge disclaimer is now displayed where applicable, keeping merchants and customers informed about surcharge policies.
• Location Transaction Report - Travel Mode Enhancements: The Location Transaction Report has been enhanced to better support Travel Mode, providing more accurate and complete transaction data for merchants operating across multiple regions.
• Improved Status Accuracy for Chip Upgrade Transactions: LBM now correctly reflects the final status of transactions where Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) required a method change (e.g., chip after tap or swipe), reducing reconciliation confusion caused by the processor creating a new transaction record.

Bug Fixes

• Accurate Fee Totals in Settlement Detail Report: Fixed a rounding issue that caused individual fee line items (Card Brand, Interchange, and Processor) to not sum to the report total. Fee amounts are now displayed with full precision at the transaction level, so line items and totals always match.
• Settlement Detail Report - Rounding Fix: Resolved a rounding issue in the Settlement Detail Report that could cause minor discrepancies in displayed totals.
