Shift4 Customer Hub 2026w25 Release Plan
Payment Links
- Now Available Globally (US, CA, AU and EU) merchants can now use Payment Links in Customer Hub to generate secure, shareable payment URLs and collect payments remotely without handling sensitive cardholder data directly. Simply create a link with your desired amount, currency, and options, then share it with your customer via email for them to complete payment through Shift4's secure hosted checkout. All active links can be tracked and managed from a dedicated Payment Links page in Customer Hub, making reconciliation and status monitoring straightforward.
Digital Receipt Enhancements
-
Digital receipts now render as a clean, branded web view in place of plain-text email and static PDF receipts.
- Every transaction generates a web receipt that displays the merchant's logo, colors, and contact info, set in a new Digital Receipts section in Settings (existing logos import automatically from Printers).
- Receipts automatically promote the services a location has enabled — online ordering, reservations, loyalty, gift cards — as relevant calls to action. Service promotion can be disabled per location.
- Applies to new transactions for all merchants at no additional cost. Previously sent receipts are unaffected.
Marketplace
- We’ve improved how DoorDash order totals and discounts are processed to provide more accurate reporting and reconciliation.
- Order totals now account for all discounts, taxes, and tips using a more reliable calculation method.
- Merchant-funded and DoorDash-funded promotions are displayed as separate discount line items.
- Discounts funded by DoorDash will be clearly labeled with a ”- DoorDash” suffix.
Multi-Location Management
- Merchant Copy and Customer Copy options now give you direct control over payment slip configuration for Credit/Debit Card and Gift Card payments, making it faster to set up exactly what gets printed for each payment type.
-
Internal Only: The Cash tender is now correctly recognized as an active payment method within Multi-Location Management. This resolves an issue where cash payments were not being properly enabled, ensuring they are accepted and processed at the point of sale without manual workarounds.
Internal Only:
Launch Control/Grow My Business
- Launch Control now supports onboarding for merchants in Spain (ES). The onboarding wizard displays in Spanish (es-ES) with ES regional formatting (EUR currency, local date, address, and phone formats). Grow My Business surfaces only VAS modules available in the Spanish market.
Reporting
-
Europe Only: Settlement Report now shows Total Fees— the sum of card brand, interchange, and processor fees. "Bank Fees" renamed to "Fees" across Customer Hub.
Internal Only:
- Users in Portugal now see the interface and backend content, including report column names and descriptions, in Portuguese.
- Diners card brand now shows correct name and logo across all transactions in Transaction Manager.
- Empty transaction results are no longer cached for date ranges ≤ 7 days — users always see a fresh, relevant dataset.
- Export files now correctly show the 3DS Standalone status in the Event Status column.
- Recurring Payment field no longer appears in the transaction details page for any merchant.
