Description: Review how to add and edit Item Tags and then add them to an item in the Echo POS below. Item Tags allow you to place different items into specific categories for easy access, such as organizing Specials or Best Selling items together.

Add or Edit Tags
If you are looking to add or edit Tags into the system, navigate to Manager > Settings and select Departments & Items > Item Tags:
- To create a new Tag, press Add New.
- To edit a Tag:
- Select a Tag from the list on the left.
- Make the desired changes.
- Select Save in the upper right corner to commit.
Tag Fields
- Tag Name (Required): Descriptive name for the Tag.
- Hidden: Determines if the Tag displays on the Order Screen.
Add Tags to an Item
To add a Tag to an Item, navigate to Manager > Settings > Department & Items > Item Setup:
- Tap on the box next to Tags.
- Choose the appropriate Tag(s) from the list on the left side.
- Select the blue plus sign.
- Select Save.
