Enforce Tips on Job Type on QSR & Delivery

Description: Learn how to have employees report their cash tips through the Enforce Tips option. Enable Enforce Tips on QSR & Delivery to accurately track an employee’s cash tips.

Enable Enforce Tips

1. Log in to the POS system.
2. Navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Database Settings > Job Desc.
3. Select the job or jobs you want to set up for tracking tips (for instance, all Servers and Cashiers must report tips but not Drivers or Managers).
4. Change the "Enforce Tips" option from 0 to 1.
   • Choose 0 to turn this off, so there is no employee cash tip recording
   • Choose 1 to turn on

Note: You need to change this for all Job Codes you want to report cash tips. Additionally, you need to have a Pay Rate set under that job code per employee.

Tips display when the user clocks out for the day. At the End of Day, if the user did not clock out, then the person performing the EOD will need to clock them out. If the user requires tips to be declared, they must declare them now.
