Description: Review how to use the Customer Search feature in QSR & Delivery to view existing Customers using search criteria or view a list of all Customers in the database.
The Customer Search feature allows you to search your customer database by Name, Phone, Address (Line 1 or 2), City, State, ZIP, or Email address. You may also perform a partial search by typing in just a part of the search criteria (i.e., the beginning of a phone number, the beginning of an email, the beginning of a street address) to bring up a list of all customers that match your criteria.
Customer Search to View Existing Customers
Log in to the POS system and press the Phone button from the main QSR page to access the Customer database.
From here, you can find the desired customer if they have already been added to the Customer database.
If you know the customer's phone number
Enter the number using the on-screen numeric keypad that appears.
Press on the Address from the search result screen to access the Customer Details page.
If you wish to go right to the order, select Take Order to assign the customer to a new check.
If you DO NOT know the customer's phone number
- Select the Lookup button at the top of the page.
- Enter your search criteria information in the appropriate field and select Search.
- A list of all matches for your search criteria will be displayed in the right window.
- Select the customer you wish to view/choose from the result tab by clicking on the line item to load that customer’s Customer Detail screen.
Customer Search to view All Customers
- Press the Phone button from the main QSR page to access the Customer database.
- Select the Lookup button at the top-left of the screen to access Customer Search.
- Do not enter any information in the search Criteria screen, just press the Search button. The entire customer database will be loaded on the right side of the screen in the results window. You can now view a list of your customer database in its entirety.
