What is causing this Issue?
The Epson TM-M30 Remote Printer is used for printing kitchen slips with basic line item information. This is connected through the router and works off of the network connection. For an item to print out on the kitchen printer, it must be set to Print Remote. This must be done for each item individually. There is no way to set multiple items to print remotely at the same time.
How do I resolve this Issue?
- Confirm that the item is set to print remotely by navigating to Manager > Settings > Departments and Items.
- Select Item Setup and highlight the item in question on the left.
- Print Remote is under page two of the Item Information screen.
- Check the IP address to make sure that the Echo is actually reading the remote printer by navigating to Manager > Settings > Hardware Settings and then selecting Remote Printer Setup from the left.
-
- Select Scan Network and if an IP address populates, press Save and then Test Print to ensure the connection.
