What is causing this Issue?
The Echo system is sent out with a USB keyboard for each account. This is the only keyboard sent with the Echo, but you can utilize any USB keyboard with the Echo POS system. If the Echo POS system is not responding to your key presses, the keyboard may be disconnected or not functioning.
How do I resolve this Issue?
- Log out of the POS system to arrive on the login screen.
- Tap on the Harbortouch logo on the left side of the screen five times.
- Look for the section labeled "Keyboard: Waiting for Keypress."
- Tap into the box to the right and type on the keyboard.
- If nothing populates within the box, ensure the cable is securely connected by unplugging it and plugging it back in two more times.

If this does not resolve the issue, swap the keyboard.
