Shift4 Gift Card Portal
The portal is a centralized tool that allows you to generate reports covering every aspect of your gift card program’s performance.
In addition, you can perform gift card transactions and manage portal users through permission settings, ensuring each member of your organization has access only to the information and tools appropriate for their role.
Enter your User Name and Password, then select Sign In to access your portal.
Features of the Portal
The Shift4 Gift Card Portal includes several powerful tools designed to support your day-to-day program management.

Dashboard: Provides a high-level overview of your gift card program’s performance. From here, you can quickly review key metrics and recent activity to stay informed about how your program is performing.
- Reports: Allows you to generate detailed performance reports, including sales, redemptions, balances, and transaction activity. These reports help you track trends, reconcile activity, and evaluate program success.
- Bulk Activation & Adjustment Tools: Allows you to activate or adjust multiple gift cards at once. This is especially useful for promotions, large orders, or operational updates involving multiple certificates.
- Certificate Search: Enables you to look up individual gift cards to view balance information, transaction history, and current status.
- Administration: Allows authorized users (CS Users) to manage portal access, create Store Web Users, and assign permissions. This ensures team members only have access to the locations and features relevant to their role.
Types of Portal Users
Two types of users can access the Shift4 Portal. Access levels depend on your role within the organization.
CS User (Client Services User / Program Administrator)
The CS User is set up at the client level and has the broadest level of access within the portal.
CS Users can:
- Manage the overall Gift Card/Loyalty Program
- Generate reports across all locations
- Perform gift card transactions
- Control portal access and assign permissions to other users at both the client and store levels
This role is typically assigned to a corporate administrator or designated Gift Card Program Manager.
Store Web User (Store-Level User)
The Store Web User is set up at the individual store level and has more limited access.
Store Web Users can:
- Manage gift card activity for their assigned store(s)
- View reporting and certificate details relevant to their location
This role is typically assigned to a store manager, front-of-office house managers, or shift leads.
