Set a Mandatory PCI Security Reboot on Universal Transaction Gateway Device

1. Stop the UTG Services/Stand Alone.
   • For more information, visit the Start or stop a service in Windows or Start or stop the UTG Stand Alone article.
2. Open the UTG TuneUp.
3. In the TuneUp, navigate to the Devices tab.
4. Select the device in question and then select Edit on the right.
5. In Additional Options, set the Reboot Time to the desired setting
   • Typically, this is requested to be performed outside of the location's normal business hours so as not to interrupt processing during operation.
     
6. Select Ok.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 as needed for each device encountering this issue.
8. Once done, select Save at the top of the TuneUp.
9. Restart the UTG Services or Stand Alone.
