Void Item/Ticket Time Shown on Reports
The Time column displays the ticket create time. This is because the “Time” field on the Void report does not refer to the time of the void itself, but instead to the time the check was added to the system. As of right now, there is no report which shows the actual time the item or tickets were voided.
You cannot locate the exact void time anywhere; therefore, the best method to combat voiding transactions is to limit the Permissions an employee has, so they are not able to do this unless they are entrusted to do so correctly.
Voided Transactions
Voided Transactions (any payment made on a ticket) are not shown on this report. Currently, there is no report in QSR that shows any type of transaction void. The best method to combat voiding transactions is to limit the permissions an employee has, so they are not able to do this unless they are entrusted to do so correctly.
